It was a fun challenge to create these social videos for Summersalt, Inc. We wanted to express the excitement and adventure that comes with a new suit and a new destination.
When you create a product as charming as Greetabl’s gift boxes, you don’t have to work hard to make people like it. But when you introduce a new behavior — like building a personalized gift box and greeting — your audience needs to be shown how and when and why to do it. But like, in a nice way.
Explanatory videos like the one I helped create for Greetabl have a functional purpose internally as well. They can use this piece to explain themselves to new hires, investors, potential partners, as well as anyone who stumbles across their site or social. We wanted to create something cute, but it was essential that the Greetabl voice was true throughout and the information presented was accurate, so it was a useful piece of branded content.

In this campaign reboot, we had a lot of fun imagining the kind of tasks that would earn you a 50 cent drink from On the Run. It was a challenge to create funny, complete ideas in less than :15, but that’s all the attention any ad gets, really.
